F.o.B. is a group organised for and by the older members of Young Church,

The name F.o.B. stands for Fools on the Boat.  It was chosen by the young people and refers to the story, told to them by John Squares, of a group of fishermen who had cast out their nets but had failed to catch any fish.  Jesus told them to cast their nets on the other side of the boat, which they did and were successful.  John said that this story always made him think of young people and how they often look at things from a different point of view.

 With this in mind we hope to challenge the teenagers to think about topical issues and to learn how to develop their faith as they become more independent. We also aim to have fun! The meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month from 6.00pm – 8.00pm.

In recent months we have wshed cars for the charity KidScan and raised more at the Alternative Market, shared a weekend together.
